“To transform Vorkady into a model Grama Panchayat that achieves progress in education, health, agriculture, infrastructure, and the empowerment of women and youth by ensuring integrated development, social justice, environmental protection, and people’s participation.”
Mission
* To ensure a transparent and accountable system of governance with active public participation.
* To provide all households in Vorkady Grama Panchayat with basic amenities such as drinking water, sanitation, roads, electricity, and housing.
* To prioritize the welfare and social security of women, children, senior citizens, persons with disabilities, and Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes.
* To strengthen the local economy by promoting agriculture, dairy development, small-scale enterprises, and self-employment initiatives.
* To encourage community participation in education, healthcare, nutrition, and waste management.
* To give priority to the conservation of natural resources, water resources, and biodiversity.
* To deliver transparent, efficient, and timely public services through e-governance systems.
* To strengthen participatory governance through the involvement of Gram Sabhas, neighbourhood groups, youth organizations, and voluntary organizations.
